A Vacancy Area allows you to display your job vacancies on your website. You can also upload Documents with the Vacancy such as Job Descriptions and Forms.
People who want to keep up to date with opportunities at your school can also subscribe to an RSS Feed for the Vacancy Area.
If you select Vacancy Area from the ‘Add a New’ menu in the Construction Zone you’ll get this page:
Creating a New Vacancy
Once you've added your Vacancy Area you can start posting Vacancies for the public to view. A Vacancy has a Name, Description, Closing Date, and a Contact Person’s Name and Email Address.
Once you've added the Vacancy you can click ‘Add or Remove Files’ to add Files to the Vacancy.
You don't have to add any Files, but if you do, you need to give them a Name, and choose your File to upload, which will likely be either a PDF or Word Document. Check out the Newsletter Sets page for information about how to make PDFs for free.
Viewing your Vacancies
After you've added all of your Files you'll be able to view the Vacancies on your site.
Visitors can then click on a Vacancy to view more information about it and download the ‘Associated Files’.
